It all started when…

I was on the hunt for a leather book cover, I’d spent hours searching the internet, looking for that special cover that would protect my literary gems as I read them. Alas, I could not find that perfect cover that was not meant for the family bible or the ladies monthly book club selection. I was looking for something a lot more rugged that would stand the test of time and of course me ( I tend to be hard on books, carrying them with me everywhere). From that fateful search and very disappointing results, One Red Paw was conceived. I decided to fire up my artistic brain cells and create the best cover, one that was the embodiment of ruggedness durability.

Since that first foray into leathercrafting at 16, I have been engrossed by the process. The look and feel of quality leathers, the elements of design, and the craftmanship have become a full time obsession. The immense satisfaction of turning a two dimensional hide into a three dimensional object of both utility and beauty is one that goes into every product we offer. so sit back, relax, and click through our offerings.

Each item we offer is, in most cases one of a kind (whether it’s the leather, design, or construction) and once gone will not be repeated. We select unique leathers for their look and feel and let them determine which of our products they will become.
